Thousands Answer The Call Of Prayer – Thirteen thousand Jehovah's Witnesses from throughout South Africa, Basutoland, Bechuanaland, Swaziland and South West Africa gathered in Benoni over the Easter week-end for mammoth national convention of prayer and baptism. The convention was arranged by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. Old folk, young folk, men, and women, were there. Oldest was Mrs Rebecca Molaoa who's 103. She raises three fingers to show cameraman Peter Magubane how long ago she turned 100 as she is helped from Apex Dam after being baptised.
