Supervising on the slide means keeping an eye on a dozen eager bundles of energy. Mrs Ruth Motlana is daytime mother to nearly 400 kids in Orlando Township Johannesburg. She and a staff of 27 assistants teach the kids to wash their faces, wash plates they eat their meals from and fold their blankets they have their afternoon sleep on. Mrs Motlana runs two nursery schools in Orlando. She is a wife of Dr Harrison Motlana.
