| Description | July 1956 - Who Got chucked Out? - Cape matmen get wings. Seriously now, are you a sissy? Brother if you are, never, never try your hand at wrestling. This mat game is just the roughest, toughest thing going on. Just recently in Cape Town, A. Cloete and Mighty Lawrence showed fans what a wrestler has to go through when they fought - if you could call it fighting, for the South African heavyweight title. It was a bout in which everything except the referee was used. They kicked and slammed and roughed each other solid, in and outside the ring. Cloete was declared the winner. Wrestling? Not for me! |
